I don't love using antibacterial. I would prefer good old hand washing, and research does suggest this is ideal. However my son had cystic fibrosis and the debate between killing off good bacteria and the bodies biome or killing bad bacteria that could land him in the Royal Children's Hospiral (again) is sadly a no brainer.
But alas there are at least more natural alternatives to some of the mainstream toxic antibacs. Buy one from organic grocer, use colodial silver in a spray bottle, water and essential oils, buy an organic or natural one online @nourished life, @theresakerr (expensive!) OR make your own!
What do you need?
Empty pump bottle (glass preferred)
Essential oils (I used lavender, theives and clove oils)
Witch hazel
Aloe Vera (fresh or bottled)
I used my Thermomix too but you really don't need too.
Step one
In a bowl add 1/2 cup aloe gel, 40 drops of oil, 1 tbs of witch hazel and mix (shake, whip, mix, stirr).
However if the aleo is fresh he's a few more steps. I did find it a bit fiddley to be honest, but I grow lots of aloe!
I found it easier than scraping it out

To cut it out as shown in the pics.
Then I scraps the remaining skin afterwards.
Blend it all together and you're done! Non toxic (a little sticky) natural antibac!
